At Southern Honey, our story is rooted in a love for the South, a shared passion for agriculture, and a sweet twist of fate. Founded by Tyler and Kaitlyn Walker, in Black, AL, our journey into the world of honey began unexpectedly in 2018. What started as a curious venture quickly blossomed into a deep appreciation for the intricate lives of honeybees and the liquid gold they produce.

Growing up with a love for the land, we never imagined the fascinating world that awaited us within the hive. This unforeseen interest has become our passion, and we are dedicated to crafting high-quality, pure honey that captures the unique flavors of the South. From the delicate floral notes of springtime blooms to the rich, robust taste of late-summer harvests, each jar of Southern Honey tells a story of our home and the diligent bees that make it all possible.

Southern Honey is truly a family affair. Our two young children are already learning the ropes and eagerly lend a hand whenever they can, fostering a love for nature and hard work from a young age. We are committed to sustainable beekeeping practices, nurturing our hives and respecting the natural environment that sustains them.
